When a family arrives at our clinic, we perform an initial interview to understand and identify the type of examination that each case necessitates. Depending on the circumstances, one or more professionals may be called in at this point.
A neurocognitive or psychoeducational evaluation is performed when necessary and requested by the family. In this regard, tests can be given for our professionals to identify the level of development of the child as well as the causes of the child’s challenges and difficulties.
Following that, the team evaluates the results, establishes the intervention’s objectives, and writes a report. In a new meeting, we present all of the information and outcomes to the families, and we offer suggestions and recommendations.
Meetings are also held with the school to ensure that all of the agents involved in the child’s or adolescent’s life are in synchronization.
Each therapy session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the child’s age or the type of intervention, and we work in a lively and game-like manner, accentuating every component of each child’s individualized intervention plan.
Periodic re-evaluations are performed, and the objectives are readjusted in response to their evolution.
We offer talks and seminars for children and teenagers, families, institutions, and the general public.
